Goals
The TOBY Foundation is determined to steer our children in the right direction by giving them the proper tools to utilize to become young adults in today's society. Too many of our young are dying or going to prison at a rapid rate. The majority of most black children are uneducated, and some are most parents. However, we can change the narrative to a lot of people situation by us connecting ourselves back to one another. Our children are being misguided, misdirected, and ill-informed so many negative vibrations that come at them through music, televisions and Social Media. We are here to break this cycle and establish the fundamentals of being successful in our community. The TOBY Foundation is taking the lead on teaching our black youth the truth of who they are as an African American.
Objective
Providing a safe environment for our Grandparent's and children to live so they can be happy and safe in their enviroment without being afraid of their kind. Growing up in America for our kids have become a NIGHTMARE! Is to become the village that is in all us to be and the only way of doing this is through healing, learning and, understanding one another. Eliminate the hate that we have for our condition and not the people you went to school with since kindergarten. The T.O.B.Y Foundation will bridge these gaps that we have amongst each other and learn to love again.
Achievements
Keeping young black men and women from going to prison, fighting each other, and having the crab in the bucket mentality. There is a saying "You don't know where you are going, until you first know where you come from.", we have all been there at one point in time of our life. With the help of you we can achieve this goal together.
